Abelisaurid - Shop

Abelisaurs were a group of carnivorous theropods recognisable by their extremely small forelimbs, short deep faces, small sharp teeth and powerful muscular hind limbs. Abelisaurid theropods first appear in the fossil record in the early Jurassic and survived until at least the end of the Mesozoic. Dominant in South America, they are much less well-known in the Kem Kem Beds of Morocco, North Africa where our Abelisaurid fossils were discovered.
