IRELAND

Unfortunately, due to a dispute between Royal Mail and AN Post regarding electronic customs information, we are currently unable to send orders to customers in Ireland using "economy" or "standard" shipping methods.  We can however offer a slightly more expensive standard delivery option using DPD. If you're ordering from Ireland and choose "economy" or "standard" delivery at checkout, we will be in touch via email regading shipping.

Standard Delivery: Orders are dispatched within 1-2 working days via Royal Mail Tracked 24, however heavier or particularly expensive orders are sent via a courier (Parcelforce, DPD, TNT).

Special Delivery: Orders placed before 11AM Monday - Friday will be dispatched the same day via Special Delivery.

There are three delivery options.  They are:

Economy Delivery:  We use Royal Mail for most orders.  This is the most cost efficient shipping method, but a tracking number is not provided and delivery times vary from 10 - 35 working days.  Spain, Italy and Greece may take longer (in some cases up to 42 working days).  We are currently unable to send orders to customers in Ireland using this service.

Standard Delivery: We use Royal Mail for most orders.  This is a standard tracked airmail service with delivery times of roughly 7-21 working days.  Spain, Italy and Greece may take longer (in some cases up to 28 working days).  We are currently unable to send orders to customers in Ireland using this service.

Express Delivery:  We use a range of couriers to get your parcel to you as soon as possible.  We most frequently use FedEx, DPD and TNT.  Delivery times are usually 3-7 working days. 

** Import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are not included in the product price or shipping and handling cost.  These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.  You may check with your country’s customs office to determine if there will be additional costs.

RETURNS

We are happy to accept returns.  If you wish to return an item, please use the "contact us" tab at the top of the page or email [email protected] and we will be happy to help.  Return requests must be made within 14 days of receipt of delivery.  Return delivery is to be paid by the customer and the amount refunded will not include the original postage costs.  In the event an item arrives broken or not as described, the customer will receive a full refund (including postage), plus the cost of returning their order.

FAQ

No, most parcels will feature the Dino Fossils UK logo.  If you're ordering as a gift or would like plain packaging, please leave a note for us at checkout.

We strive to make our packaging as environmentally friendly as possible.  Most small to medium sized fossils are packed using a small amount of bubble wrap (we encourage customers to recycle any bubble wrap after delivery) and biodegrable packing peanuts.  In cases where large or delicate fossils cannot be packed in this manner we make every effort to pack them as envirnomentally friendly as possible.

If you live outside the UK you may have to pay customs charges.  We encourage international customers to familiarise themselves with their national customs policies before placing an order.
