Iguanodontid / Basal Hadrosaurid Tooth #11

Description

A dinosaur tooth from the Elrhaz Formation of Niger. This tooth belongs to either the iguanodontid Lurdusaurus or the basal hadrosaurid Ouranosaurus.  Unfortunately there's not much published on the teeth of either dinosaur so it's not possible to distinguish between the two.

This is a big "spit" tooth, worn down through feeding and shed while the animal was alive. Features quite a bit of wear but is very affordable!

Comes stored in a display box featuring the specimen name, region it was found, age and a QR code linking to some information about sauropods.
