An insect cocoon from the Hell Creek Formation, famous for its abundance of dinosaur fossils. There is nothing published on these particular fossils, however we have previously owned specimens found assocated with a Triceratops skeleton and some of the nicest specimens show clear rings, characteristic of insect cocoons.
