Undescribed Megalosaurid Tooth (Niger) #26

Description

A rare Jurassic theropod tooth from the Tiouraren Formation (Niger).  The tooth has been distorted by geological forces, which is typical of teeth from this formation (the tip may have been reattached).

This tooth come from a undescribed Megalosaurid.  Comes labelled and stored in an acrylic case with padding. 

Tooth measurements are as follows:

Crown Base Ratio: 0.67

Crown Height Ratio: 2.94

Mesial Serration Count (per 5mm): N/A

Distal Serration Count (per 5mm): 10

Condition: Good

Size: 2 inch

Age: 167 Million Years
