Undescribed Megalosaurid Tooth (Niger) #25

Description

A rare Jurassic theropod tooth from the Tiouraren Formation (Niger).  The tooth has been distorted by geological forces, which is typical of teeth from this formation.

This tooth come from a undescribed Megalosaurid.  Comes labelled and stored in an acrylic case with padding. 

Tooth measurements are as follows:

Crown Base Ratio: 0.73

Crown Height Ratio: 3.06

Mesial Serration Count (per 5mm): 10

Distal Serration Count (per 5mm): 11

Condition: Fair

Size: 1.75 inch

Age: 167 Million Years

Locality: Agadez, Niger (Tiouraren Formation)
