Description

A Phytosaur tooth from the Bull Canyon Formation.  Phytosaurs were large, semi-aquatic Late Triassic reptiles. This is a very large anterior tooth which was found in two pieces and has been repaired.  Comes labelled and stored in an acrylic case with padding.

Size: 1.81 inch

Age: 220 Million Years

Locality: Quay County, New Mexico (Bull Canyon Formation)
